In the late 1980s, Vivienne Westwood introduced her timeless pearl concept with the debut of the signature Broken Pearl necklace during the Harris Tweed Fall 1987 fashion show. The design features a three-dimensional orb motif enhanced with crystal details and a distinctive “broken” silhouette that reflects Westwood’s punk roots, embodying the house’s rebellious spirit.
